TD is guided by our purpose: to help enrich the lives of our customers, communities and colleagues. Through our corporate citizenship platform, the TD Ready Commitment, we aspire to help make a positive impact for the customers and communities we serve.
We are targeting a total of C$1 billion by 2030 in community giving and colleague engagement, towards supporting change, nurturing progress, and investing in local communities.
Vibrant Planet
We aspire to grow and enhance green spaces, and work towards achieving our target of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions associated with our operations and financing activities by 2050.
Financial Security
We aspire to work with community organizations who provide access to tools and programs that support early learning and financial education, invest in training, entrepreneurship and small businesses, and help people access housing.
Connected Communities
We aspire to work with community organizations who elevate diverse voices in arts and culture, support events and initiatives that give people opportunities to get involved in their communities, and help people build meaningful connections through community programming.
Better Health
We aspire to work with community organizations who are working on innovative research, solutions and technology to support access to care for vulnerable communities.

Throughout the year, colleagues can access our internal platform, the TD Ready Commitment Network, which is a one-stop shop to discover, plan, and begin a personal engagement journey – as an individual or with your colleagues and communities. Together we aspire to help make a positive impact for the customers and communities we serve.

TD has a deeply-rooted tradition of active corporate citizenship brought to life by its 95,000+ colleagues. Through the TD Ready Commitment Network, colleagues can begin their personal engagement journey through volunteering, giving and fundraising, community leadership and group experiences.

The TD Ready Commitment Ambassador Program supports highly engaged employees who have a passion for community involvement and are looking to take on a volunteer leadership role, to build awareness, coordinate and amplify opportunities for colleagues to make an impact in their community.

Throughout the year, colleagues can access Group Experiences through the TD Ready Commitment Network, which help colleagues build stronger bonds with local communities. We leverage our community organization sponsorships and internal diversity events to help create meaningful experiences to share with your colleagues, families, and friends.
Learning opportunities A commitment to lifelong learning
Through the TD Ready Commitment Network, colleagues can access webinars and learning modules to gain a deeper understanding of the TD Ready Commitment, and how we’re working to help drive change through our business, philanthropy and colleagues.
Environmental initiatives TD Friends of the Environment Foundation
TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is a national charity that funds environmental projects across Canada. The Foundation supports a wide range of environmental initiatives, with a primary funding focus on revitalizing and stewarding public green spaces.
Enhancing Green Spaces TD Tree Days
TD Tree Days, the flagship volunteer program of TD FEF, aims to provide TD colleagues, their friends and family, and community members, the opportunity to volunteer to plant trees and shrubs in urban and rural greenspaces. This volunteer program helps grow and enhance green spaces for communities to enjoy.
We continue to support an array of initiatives focused on early learning, income stability, financial literacy and affordable housing, which can help people access programs and the opportunities needed to help them improve their financial security.
