Our commitment to pay equity
At TD we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture where all colleagues can thrive. An integral part of this is ensuring that colleagues are paid fairly for the work they do, and that there aren’t any differences in pay based on gender, race, ethnicity, or a person’s disability.
To deliver on this, we have a comprehensive approach to managing compensation which includes working with external experts to calculate whether any pay gap exists after adjusting for factors such as level, experience, and role. In 2023 we disclosed the following results of this analysis on our adjusted pay gap:
- Women globally earned more than 99 cents for every dollar earned by men
- Visible minorities in Canada earned more than 99 cents for every dollar earned by the rest of the colleague population
- Minorities in the US earned 1 dollar for every dollar earned by non-minorities
