Mentorships that make a difference

TD proudly works with external agencies to provide mentorship and support to help professionals that are new to Canada, including 2SLGBTQ+ refugees, get the experience they need.

Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC): Founding sponsor

Through the TRIEC mentorship program, TD colleagues have mentored more than 2500 new-to-Canada professional immigrants.

TENT LGBTQ Refugee Mentorship Initiative

In support of integrating 2SLGBTQ+ refugees into our communities, TD has participated in the TENT LGBTQ Refugee Mentorship Program. Through the program TD colleagues mentored more than 50 2SLGBTQ+ refugees, in cities in Canada and the U.S.

What some of our colleagues are saying about our commitment to new-to-Canada colleagues

TD goes the extra mile to support and be inclusive to new Canadians; this is reflected in the diverse colleague communities around me and the way I work, every day.
